This is something that even the jeweller himself admits to having flaunted at summer festivals over the years. But he would never have guessed then that in the future he would receive an offer of cooperation from Maija Vilkkumaa herself. When Maija's team contacted Vorssa Ink, the decision to start the collaboration was clear.
"I am very happy and overwhelmed by this opportunity to make earrings for Maija. Especially as these are just us, just Vorssa Ink's thing!!! Glitter and an edge to the shape." Kata sums up.

MAIJA X VORSSA earrings are inspired by the "M" logo of Maija. The wish to use the logo came from Maija. Kata went to work to design the implementation and suitable materials. It wasn't long before Maija had her first pair of MAIJA earrings on trial.
The colours of the earrings were chosen together with Maija. The wishes for turquoise and silver were the first colour ideas that came from Maija herself. Timeless colours were chosen for the bracelets, which will live long and stand the test of time. In addition to turquoise and silver, red, gold, magenta and black were chosen. Not forgetting, of course, the Vorsa style glitter on both sides of the earrings.
Acrylic was chosen as the material for the earrings. As a material, acrylic is not only impressive and durable, but also very light. As a result, even the large Maija earrings are not heavy, but almost imperceptible in use. The material also fits in well with the edgy shape of the letter M.
